Hi, I'm Tee Moschberger

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with 15+ years of experience working with people of all ages from 18 months through adulthood. I have worked primarily as a child/adolescent therapist, working with those who have endured very difficult experiences during their childhood or transformative years, such as experiencing various forms of physical, verbal, or sexual abuse, bullying, foster care, grief, witnessing violence, and/or medical traumas, including chronic and life-limiting illness. Most of these clients experience ongoing post-traumatic stress, depression, and/or anxiety, all of which can be reduced with counseling.

I have also spent many years providing mental health services in a medical hospital where I was able to provide therapy to  children and young adults who have various chronic illnesses or life-altering medical problems such as cancer, cystic fibrosis, organ failure, and more. I have repeatedly seen the effects of depression and anxiety on someone with a chronic illness and know how much overall improvement can occur when mental health needs are addressed. I have seen how illness affects the family as a whole, what it’s like when you are having difficulties with your medical team, or when you just feel like you can’t take another day of treatments/medications which have taken over your life. Increased access to tele-therapy (virtual counseling) has been a true gift to the medical community during the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond. Therapists are able to provide services to you wherever you are, whether that’s your home, your dorm room, or even when you’re admitted to the hospital. It helps provide consistency in treatment and allows for the therapist to continue to offer support during times when the client may typically not be able to come into an office. It also gives you the comfort that you are not risking exposure to any further illness when you already have a compromised immune system.

As your therapist, I aim to partner with you and support you as we navigate through the experiences that have shaped, and continue to shape, your life whether they are big or small. We will work together to identify the goals that you would like to work on, helping you to identify what would result in the greatest improvements in your life. My goal is to have a positive and trusting relationship with you and to give you a private, non-judgmental, and open-minded space to share your story and start to bring joy back into your life.

Want to know a little more about me? At one point in my life, before mommyhood took hold of my world, traveling was a big part of my life. I've trekked through the jungle and slept in a massive cave in Vietnam, bathed elephants in a waterfall in Thailand, and stood on a 2,000 year old theater stage in Greece. I would love to continue checking travel locations off my bucket list someday, but for now, most of my adventures include Ghostbusters and Peppa Pig! My favorite hobbies these day include Broadway, crafting, jigsaw puzzles, and belting out Taylor Swift songs.
